Our Projects in the Amazon Rainforest

  • Aquaponics

    Food Sovereignty

    This project is underway; it involves sustainable fish farming, “paiche,” a traditional fish in danger of extinction in the Amazon Rainforest, to ensure the Siekopai’s food sovereignty and a sustainable economy through sales in the international market.

  • Plant Medicine

    Agroforestry

    This project is underway to restore the Siekopai traditional healing plants and lost biodiversity. Also, essential to educate the younger generations about the various medicinal plants and support natural products for a sustainable local economy.

  • Healing Center

    Education & Health

    The healing center will be a sacred space for the elders to share their traditional knowledge of Amazonian healing plants with the younger generations, along with a structured collaboration with scientists.

  • Ancestral Cacao

    Bioeconomy

    We will contribute to producing high-quality cacao and chocolate in partnership with the Indigenous Communities of the Amazon Rainforest AmaCacao. families will benefit from this project across Ecuador and Bolivia guarantees the sustainability and conservation of wild cocoa, significantly improving families income level.
