In Partnership with the Kogi People

The Kogi | Guardians of the Law of Origin

The Kogi are an Indigenous civilization of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in northern Colombia — one of the most ecologically unique mountain systems on Earth, rising from the Caribbean Sea to snow-capped peaks.

They call themselves the Elder Brothers.

For centuries, they have lived according to the Law of Origin — an ancestral spiritual and ecological order that governs balance between humanity, water, and the natural world.

Their territory is a living watershed.

What happens in the Sierra affects the oceans.

Water Is Memory. Water Is Law.

We stand with the Kogi to protect sacred water sources, ancestral routes, and ecological balance within the Sierra Nevada.

This is not conservation as policy.
It is restoration of cosmic order.

The Reality

The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet.

Yet sacred sites have been disrupted by colonization, extractive industries, and territorial fragmentation.

The Kogi warn that when humanity breaks its relationship with water, imbalance spreads globally.

They continue to walk ancient routes — restoring sacred sites, performing ceremonies, and maintaining the invisible network that connects mountains, rivers, and oceans.

Their message is clear:
The future of humanity depends on restoring balance with water.

What We Are Building Together

Indigenous-Led Educational Pedagogy Project
• Intergenerational transmission of ancestral ecological knowledge
• Youth formation grounded in the Law of Origin
• Protection of sacred knowledge systems

Sacred Route Restoration
• Support for elders maintaining ceremonial pilgrimage routes
• Protection of water source sites
• Strengthening territorial continuity

Water Protection & Global Message Amplification
• Documentary collaboration to share the Kogi message internationally
• Strategic alliances to protect watershed systems
• Cultural sovereignty through narrative autonomy

Why This Matters Globally

The Sierra Nevada is a microcosm of planetary systems.

Glaciers feed rivers.
Rivers feed oceans.
Oceans regulate climate.

The Kogi have warned the world for decades:
Environmental collapse is spiritual collapse.

Listening is no longer optional.
